Shiatsu helps your body by stimulating its natural power of recuperation. Owing to its unique holistic method, it can be performed as a complementary therapy alongside other medical care practices. For example, it can be used in combination with physiotherapy or as a part of the recovery process in case of injury and/or an operation.

  • For your session, we advise you to wear whatever is comfortable. There are no restrictions before and after your session.

  • Your session is tailored based on your individual needs and preferences.

  • During your session, our therapist utilizes specific Shiatsu techniques to enhance your health and well-being.

  • After your session, our therapist will offer some Self-care Shiatsu tips.

Our Offer

  • Ensure your employees' well-being by providing them an opportunity to have regular (e.g., biweekly, monthly) Shiatsu sessions at your company's premises. These can also be used as part of an event.

  • These practical 30-90-minute workshops are great, for example, as part of a work well-being day or another similar event.

Francis Gamache - Namikoshi Shiatsu Therapist

Francis is a qualified Namikoshi Shiatsu therapist from Canada. He graduated from the Canadian College of Shiatsu Therapy and underwent a 2,500-hour Shiatsu curriculum from 1999 to 2001. He has been working in Finland since 2001 and helping his clients to improve their health and well-being. He has treated a variety of clientele including entrepreneurs, CEOs, office workers, athletes, teachers, composers, and homemakers, who all have greatly benefited from his treatments.

What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu therapy is an authentic Japanese manual therapy, officially known as Namikoshi Shiatsu Therapy, named after its founder Mr. Tokujiro Namikoshi. Shiatsu technique involves applying manual pressure to certain established points on the surface of the body. It is a calm, gentle, and individualised method of relieving the body of pain and evoking the body’s own natural powers of recuperation. It treats the body and mind holistically, so that you feel energized and rejuvenated. It can be adapted to individuals across all ages.

Shiatsu is helpful for you if you are suffering from muscular tension or stiffness, fatigue, insomnia, or mobility issues. It helps in speeding up the recovery process in case of injury or an operation. It is a source of mental therapy and can help alleviate stress and anxiety, thus improving overall mental performance and achieving more, daily.


How do I prepare for my shiatsu session?

Before your shiatsu session, we advise that you drink some water and use the restroom. Avoid any heavy meals before the session.

The session will be done on a massage table and you can choose to wear whatever is comfortable.

There are no restrictions to what you can do before or after your Shiatsu session.
